June 25 South Omaha Horticultural Society will meet at 7 p.m. Program: Progressive Dinner July - Nebrask Daylily Society will have a meeting/Bloom Show/Garden Tour in Sioux City, IA July 16 - Dr. David Zlesak & :Good and Green" will speak at 9:30 a.m. at the Bellevue Celebrates Environmental Responsibility: Revolutionary Gardening Technology to Arboretum July 17 - SOHS will travel to Hooper to tour a number of gardens July 21 - Ikebana International #60 will meet at 6:30 at Heron Haven Wetland SAnctuary, 11809 Old Maple Rd, Omaha. The speaker will be Ione Werthman; History of Heron Haven, a rare urban wetland. July 30 - South Omaha Horticultural Society will meet at 7 p.m. Program: Tour of Hanscom Park and Joslyn Sculpture Garden August 18 - Ikebana International #60 will meet at Bruce and Verla's home, 4036 N 116th Circle, Omaha for a picnic and installation of new Ikebana oficers. August 27 - South Omaha Horticultural Society will meet at 7 p.m. at the Douglas/Sarpy County Extension; Program: Bountiful Harvest August 28 - Nebraska Daylily Society will meet at Chalco Hilss Natural Resources Center, 8901 S 154th St (Giles Road) Omaha. The guiest speaker will be Karol Emmerich. There will also be an auction September 14, 2010 - OCGC meeting at 6:30 at the Extension Building; Speaker will be Bob Henrickson on "Tree Selection & Care" Outstanding and overlooked trees for the Great Plains landscape. September 16 - Omaha Rose Society will meet at memorial Park. Program: "Propagation for Dummies" September 24 - South Omaha Horticultural Society will meet at 7 p.m. at the Douglas/Sarpy County Extension; Program: Propagating Plants October 21 - Omaha Rose Society will meet at Douglas/Sarpy C. Extension at 6:30. Pot Luck/Show and tell Ocotober 29 - South Omaha Horticultural Society will meet at 7 p.m. at the Douglas/Sarpy County Extension; Program: Greg Waggoner November 9, 2010 - OCGC meeting at 6:30 at the Extension Office; Pot Luck Dinner & OCGC Silent Auction. Each Club is asked to bring an item for the silent auction.
