JANUARY 14  Thru May 14.   Spring Flower Show starts at Lauritzen Gardens-  Theme this year is Wicked Plants   The show displays plants that can paralyze, strangulate, and cause derangement as highlighted in Amy Stewart's book "Wicked Plants: The Weed that Killed Lincoln's Mother & Other Botanical Atrocities". And now, something wicked is coming to Lauritzen Gardens. It's mayhem under glass, as the Floral Display Hall will feature many of nature's worst.

 Lauritzen Gardens is pleased to bring award-winning author Amy Stewart to Omaha for the annual Loveland Garden Club Lecture on April 19.  
Stewart will present “Wicked Plants: The Weed that Killed Lincoln’s Mother and Other Botanical Atrocities” based on her New York Times bestselling book by the same name.
