The goal of the Council is to create a mutual interest in the art of gardening, to act as a liaison between affliliated clubs, to bind our members together in a bond of friendship and to contribute to civic and educational endeavors.
The Omaha Council of Garden Clubs meetings are held the second Tuesday of the months of January, March, May, September and November at the Douglas/Sarpy County Extension Office at 8015 W Center Road, Omaha, NE at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are open to all club members and interested members of the public. Each member club should send at least one delegate to report back to their club. Any member of any club may attend the council meetings.

If a person does not belong to a garden club and wishes to belong to OCGC they may join as a member for $5.00.
